Every kid with a lemonade stand has a dream. Khalil Lorando had a plan.

At 11, Khalil is the CEO of Kyreeze Lemonade in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The name says a lot about him: Kyreeze is a merge of his middle name, Kyrie, and "squeeze." It's personal, it's clever, and it sounds like a brand — because that's what it became.

Kyreeze sells lemonade and limeade, plus Red Bull-infused refresher drinks, served with professional signage, branded cups, and a website. This isn't a folding table and a handwritten sign. It's a business that looks like a business, because Khalil treated it like one from the start.

And then he made it official. Kyreeze was registered as a New Mexico domestic LLC on February 11, 2025, with his mother Kenzetta Lang listed as registered agent and organiser. At an age when most kids are still learning long division, Khalil was learning what it means to actually own a company.

His profile describes him as the youngest affiliated business owner with the Black Chamber of Commerce of New Mexico, and he's put in the work to back that up: around 20 events, including appearances at Juneteenth celebrations in 2025 and a Black-owned-business Juneteenth roundtable in June 2026. Those aren't just sales days. They're community days, where a young business owner shows up, serves people, and becomes part of something bigger than a drink stand.

So what's the money for? Khalil has a goal, and it's a very 11-year-old goal in the best way: he's saving for a Jeep Wrangler by the time he's 16. His earnings are split three ways — wallet, savings, and investment — which is a better money system than a lot of adults have. Spend a little, save a lot, and let some of it grow.

One honest note for readers: Kyreeze is a summer business at heart. His July 2026 profile said he primarily sells in summer, took that season off to travel with family, and would be back on a regular schedule in summer 2027. So if you're in Rio Rancho and wondering where to find him in October, the answer is: he's on pause, recharging, and coming back. That's not a failure. That's a kid running a business on a kid's calendar — and doing it smartly.

Khalil Lorando started with lemonade and a car dream. He ended up with an LLC, a brand, a community, and a plan. At 11.
