VanVan’s music story has grown through collaborations as well as her own releases. “Playing Outside Everyday” introduced many viewers to Savannah “Van Van” McConneaughey; later recordings connect her with Heiress Harris and Ave.
Her official biography identifies her as a North Carolina rapper and performer and lists voice work as Vancy in Doggyland. It is a career that crosses music, short-form video, and children’s entertainment, with the records providing the clearest listening route.
TWO COLLABORATIONS TO KNOW
In March 2024, BET reported on “Be You”, her collaboration with Heiress Harris, and identified MC Lyte as the music video’s director. BET also published their June 2024 awards-show performance. Those links let listeners follow the same song from a release into a public stage appearance.
“SummerTime Baby,” with Ave, brings another young collaborator into the catalog. Explore the recording above, then compare the two artists’ individual work through our Ave feature.
FOLLOW THE WORK
The releases are different entry points, rather than steps every listener has to take in order. Choose the song or performance that catches your attention, then use VanVan’s official site to follow her music and announced projects.
