This policy explains how ALREADY! handles information when you visit alreadymag.com, subscribe to our emails, leave a comment, contact us, or submit talent for editorial consideration. ALREADY! covers youth culture and talent under 20 worldwide.

INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO SHARE

Contact and advertising forms ask for information such as your name, email address, organization, website, and message. Talent submissions may include an age or age range, general location, creative work, public links, and information about a parent, guardian, or representative. Newsletter subscriptions use your email address. Comments may include a display name, email address, website, and the comment itself.

We use this information to respond to inquiries, review submissions, consider editorial coverage, handle advertising inquiries, deliver requested emails, and moderate comments. Sending a talent submission does not automatically subscribe you to the newsletter or guarantee coverage.

Please do not send home addresses, school schedules, identity documents, passwords, medical information, or other sensitive personal details through our forms. Public comments should not include private contact information.

WHAT BECOMES PUBLIC

Approved comments and their display names may be visible to other readers. Editorial stories may feature an artist’s or athlete’s public professional information, creative work, and credited images. Information sent privately through a form is not automatically published. We do not display the private contact email addresses supplied in forms or comments.

HOSTING, SECURITY, AND SITE STATISTICS

Our site uses WordPress.com and Jetpack services provided by Automattic for hosting, forms, subscriptions, site statistics, and related site functions. Akismet helps filter spam. These services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, referring pages, dates of visits, and interactions, as well as information submitted through a form, subscription, or comment.

Read Automattic’s notice for visitors to sites using its services and its cookie policy for details about those providers’ processing and controls.

COOKIES AND BROWSER STORAGE

WordPress.com, Jetpack, and other services used by the site may use cookies or similar technologies for site operation, security, statistics, and account features. ALREADY!’s own browser storage remembers choices such as night mode, whether you dismissed a subscription invitation, your local reaction selections, and the most recently shown featured story.

You can clear cookies and site storage or change cookie settings in your browser. Doing so may reset preferences or affect some features. Clearing browser storage does not itself unsubscribe you from an email list or delete a form submission.

VIDEOS, MUSIC, AND EXTERNAL LINKS

Stories may contain embedded YouTube videos, Spotify players, or other third-party media. Loading or interacting with embedded content can send technical information to that provider, which may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policies. External links take you to websites operated by others.

For more information, see Google’s privacy policy, including YouTube and Spotify’s privacy policy.

ADVERTISING

Paid sponsorship is labeled separately from editorial coverage. An advertising inquiry does not create a booking or payment obligation.

If Google advertising is enabled on ALREADY!, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies to select ads based on visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies can allow Google and its partners to personalize advertising. You can manage Google’s personalized-ad settings at My Ad Center and learn how Google uses information from partner sites at Google’s partner-site information page. Other participating companies’ advertising choices may be available through the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out tool.

This advertising disclosure describes how Google ads would work if enabled; it does not mean AdSense is currently active. Any additional advertising providers and consent choices will be identified when those services are introduced.

CHILDREN AND TALENT SUBMISSIONS

Featuring young talent does not mean children should send personal information on their own. Children under 13 should have a parent or legal guardian contact us or complete a submission on their behalf. Teenagers should involve a parent or guardian where appropriate and should share only the information needed for the inquiry.

Parents or guardians can use our contact form to raise a concern about information submitted by a child, request correction or removal, or discuss an image or story. We may ask for enough information to verify the request and the relationship to the child before taking action.

SHARING AND RETENTION

Information may be handled by the editor and service providers needed to operate the website, process forms, send requested emails, filter spam, and protect the site. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, misuse, or safety concerns. Providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.

We retain inquiries and submission records as needed to respond, evaluate editorial opportunities, maintain relevant records, and meet operational or legal needs. Comments may remain with the story unless removed. Subscription information is used while the subscription remains active. Deletion from active records may not immediately remove copies in providers’ backups or records they are required to retain.

YOUR CHOICES AND PRIVACY REQUESTS

Use the unsubscribe link in newsletter emails to stop future newsletter messages. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting us through the Contact Us form and identifying the relevant submission, comment, or subscription. Please do not post the request or private information in a public comment.

We may need to verify your identity or clarify the information requested. Available rights and any exceptions depend on your location and the circumstances. Questions about privacy, corrections, image concerns, or information about a child can all be sent through that same contact form.

POLICY UPDATES

We may update this policy as the site and its services change. The date at the top identifies the latest update.
